We saved the most traditional photos of Pragati & Anant’s Gujarati Wedding for last. You’ll see the bride and groom getting ready, the baraat (procession with the groom and his family entering the wedding venue), being greeted by the bride’s mother and family. Then there is the garland exchange, the seven circles around the pious fire and the exchange of rings and mangal-sutra. The most heart wrenching part of the ceremony is the vidai – it’s the traditional ceremony where the bride bids adieue to her family and goes off to her husband / in-laws’ place. Photographing such tender moments is tough, but we try and do our best to capture the moments that makes an Indian Wedding so special!
